Application
As foam supplier of the foam fire-fighting system, PHZY series foam proportioning unit is an important equipment of the foam fire-fighting system at such places as tank farm, harbor wharf airport, petrol-chemical, complex etc. We have carried deep and systemic research of the foam- proportioning unit and our PHZY series foam-proportioning unit has properties of steady performance, large range of the capacity and pressure and low loss of the pressure.
PHZY series foam-proportioning unit has two types: horizontal and vertical installation. Tank volume: 1000L～15000L)
Principle and structure
When the pressure water passes through the proportioner, water and foam concentrate will mix automatically in a specific proportion, such as 3% or 6%. The mixer flow is delivered and supplied to the air foam generator, foam pipe, foam nozzle, foam monitor, or other foam equipments to generate air foam to extinguish oil fire, alcohol fire, etc.
PHZY Series foam proportioning unit consists of tank body, proportioner, water inlet pipe, mixer outlet pipe, gas outlet pipe, foam concentrate outlet pipe, level indicator, pressure gauge and pressure relief valve etc. All kinds of pipe are equipped with ball valve.
Proportioner selection
We have four kinds of proportioner. Their capacity and mixing percent is following:
DN65 Capacity range: 2.4L/s～24L/s (3% or 6%);
DN100 Capacity range: 12L/s～80L/s (3% or 6%);
DN150 Capacity range: 20L/s～160L/s (3% or 6%);
DN200 Capacity range: 32L/s～320L/s (3% or 6%).
